I'm surprised it's taken so long to get some real snow this year. Last year we had several storms that dumped at least a few inches. We're supposed to get 6 to 12 inches since we're right below the toll road and that's the target area for this storm. (As I was typing this, Chuck called and said some lady was stuck just down the road, so now he's out there trying to tow her out. Yikes!)
It's 3:00 and I think we're up to about 6 or 7 inches already. This is the neglected side of the house. I always forget it's there. Sure is pretty, though!
Okay, upon further thought, I believe today's entry deserves more than one picture...

January 9 - Commute from Hell
Today I started a temp job in downtown Ft. Wayne (just for a week). It's roughly 45 or 50 minutes away, so I left early to make sure I found the place okay. Just as I was leaving, Chuck ran out and said the interstate was closed in both directions. Apparently, a semi hauling cows crashed and there were cows running all over the place. I had to go several miles out of the way and go around and get back on the interstate. I was 5 minutes late, but this was a big story, so it was no big deal.
On the way home, traffic came to a screeching halt because of an accident. I was sitting there for 25 minutes before it starting moving again. I knew there was a reason I brought the camera today! Here I am, stuck in traffic. And yeah, that's ice dripping down my windshield.

January 8 - Tiffany, the Mid-Life Crisis Girl
Last night while I took Coobie and Mayah to their bowling league, Chuck took Emily and Kyle to Buffalo Wild Wings. He told me later he spent $44 and some change. No big whoop.
So, today, I was looking at something on the bank website and saw a charge for $36 and some change for Buffalo Wild Wings. Going out to eat quite a lot, I know the charge for the tip will come later. So, this means he gave the server an $8.00 tip on a $30 bill. My woman's intuition told me the server must have been hot.
Tonight I told Chuck last night's server must have been hot and that's when the blush came over him. Not only was "Tiffany" hot, she was quite flirtatious. Here's the receipt to prove it.
Damn, I'm good.

January 7 - Doomo Arigatoo
Coobie's been on this Japanese kick for a while now, so being the nice Mommy I am, I thought I'd make his One True Media montage with a Japanese theme.
I have spent a lot of today looking up music and lettering to put on that thing! Did you know there are 16 different ways to say thank you in Japanese??!!
Coobie thinks he's going to move to Japan when he grows up.
He better think about calling RosettaStone!

January 4 - Stuck on the Computer
So, today I have been making a photo montage of Mayah, from birth until now, chronicling her nearly 10 years of life. It's taken me about 10 years to get it done! It's uploading as we speak...
