January 15 - BBBBBBRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

Our official low for this morning was -15. On the way to work, my car registered -12.
It's now 9:00PM and look what it is... notice the wind chill factor. Holy crap!

We're supposed to get down to -16 tonight. We'll see. All I know is that I will be happy to see this week over with. I saw 2 accidents on the way to work and missed a 5 car pile-up by about 10 minutes.

January 14 - OMG

So, the weather and roads were bad when I left for work and everything just went downhill from there. There was a dusting of snow when I got there and by the time I left, the parking lot looked like this:

Probably got a good 4 inches or so. And the commute... an hour to work and two hours home... No thanks. Why did I pick this week to work?

January 13 - Sorry

Okay, a little graphic, I know, but come on... who knew driving around Ft. Wayne could be so entertaining? I drove an extra 10 minutes around many one-way streets to get a picture of this:

Poor guy. What a name! I'm wondering what a "lof" is and what he had to do to get a free one.

January 12 - My Lunch

What's more pathetic, sitting in a Walgreen's parking lot eating beef snacks, trail mix and Diet Pepsi or sitting in a Walgreen's parking lot taking a picture of beef snacks, trail mix and Diet Pepsi?

Too bad this isn't a permanent gig and closer to home. I really like company I'm working for. Tomorrow's commute should be interesting... under a Winter Storm Warning and Blizzard Watch. BLIZZARD!!!
